FJ: Clearly the majority of us bought way too soon and are in the red. 

In retrospective for sure you are right. But at the time each of us bought in, we did not know the future. 

In such disruptive technology you never know what the next day will bring us. Any day can be our day, this was and still is the game we are playing. 

The difference between now and then I see in the change of business plan. The strategy to market the POET IP offered more chances to sudden positive suprise.

Now we are with a POET following a steady path to own production in one key market (datacom), this should be more predictable (commercialisation of the AOC in 2018). Here also fails and delays can surprise. This is now reflected in our SP.

But we never should forget, that still the chances of sudden surprises from one or the other verticals are immanent and still can surprise us  - any day.
