If you can't produce 5 million units in a year the big boys will pass on you and you will get bought out for cheap. And to get scale you need proof of concept in a product plus operational risk  avoidance in creating a new platform since it's not plug and play. Basically you need to redesign the entire design and supply chain. Good luck
