I like your explanation better!    There are so many abbreviations, it is hard to understand what they are referring to sometimes.   I just googled BICFET, and it is all clear to me now! (g)    Thyrister VCSELs is another name for transceiver that we were so focused on for such a long time?

I thought the completion of the VCSEL was a big step, but the market yawns.   I guess Poet still has to provide sample prototypes to convince potential users and the market.
