Opportunityknocks: Is this a good thing or bad thing for Poet? Thoughts?
Three possible cases (with different likelyhoods, I might add):
- POET does not intend to participate in the tender: Then it doesn't matter at all.
- POET intends to participate in the tender, but hasn't submitted the bid yet: Then it is a good thing, because they have one more week to complete their stuff, iron out rough edges and polish the brass.
- POET has already submitted their bid: Then it is a bad thing, because it takes probably one more week for a decision, and other companies have one more week to submit their own bids.
Overall I believe it doesn't matter much.
