That's true. I once worked for a custom metal fabrication firm. Since every project was unique, it was customary to get 30% upfront and then the remaining phases of the project were paid as each milestone (for lack of a better term) was achieved. I think at the very end, the last phase was held back from forwarding money until the project was fully completed to the customers' satisfaction. So, more or less, something along those lines. The processes in unique manufacturing require something like this, so the Indian RFP would be welcomed or desired by POET, I would think.
