“It’s the other half”.  Sure, it would worry anyone rational.  But:

First, Dr. Ben Chen, believes that Poet brings a real solution to the table, otherwise directors at his level don’t allow themselves to get too excited or be cited in a news releases without confidence in the tech proposition under consideration.

Equally, the top Accelink management doesn’t hand out “Memorandum of Understanding” like petit bonbons— but, must always cover their butts with the vagaries of contractual language.  

Lastly, but politically not the least sensitive part of this transaction is that a Chinese owned firm would dearly wish to bask in the light and prestige of a break though tech event.  It’s also One Belt, One Road.
