I am a contrarian type of investor (or call me trader if you like) - I buy when there is a big sale, and sell when everybody is buying, which, I must admit, is one of the hardest things to do. Usually I try to trade 25-30% of my holdings, which are all speculative ones. I used to trade bio stocks, now I try to ride the blockchain wave. This trading strategy has veen working for me so far. I started playiyng capital markets a bit late in my life (only 4 years ago). I don't have too much time till my retirement, so I have to take risks, granted my personality allows me - I don't put too much weight in financials, so I don't sweat when I lose money. There are more important things in my life than money :)
