It is certainly "no guts, no glory" approach. Like I said, one must be capable of selling stock on its way up, which is psychologically a very hard thing to do. Like I said before, over years I just "trained" myself to sell on news, even if I miss the moment and sell too early (which is what happens in most cases anyway). The important thing here is not to blame yourself for that and don't regret anything. Otherwise it will drive you crazy. Just tell yourself "profit is profit" and move on.
