As you say there is a chance of this as there are some promising developments, although certainly not confirmed by the SP. However, IMO, I would argue that even though it did not pan out (yet?), I felt the greatest chance of POET becoming a great success etc. was when we were "weeks, not quarters - just engineering" away from proof of concept of the GaAs "stuff". There was never any competition for the GaAs "stuff", although it is looking like POET has a different approach now to deal with some of that "stuff", not necessarily all of it of course.

The SP is certainly disruptive.

I do hope for the best, but I'm concerned that I do use the word hope, which is where I am at now.
