The most "Likely Case Scenario" is that the new hire has seen the demonstration of the new product, touched it and of course, watched it in action, now he's ready to take the jump. His job is to get out there in front of it. Why move companies? yes for money, all sales people are pushed by cash, however the excitement of being a part of cosmic change is the "Ultimate Rush", sales guys of this nature are adrenalin junkies.

I cannot tell you if he was head hunted or he jumped in: my best guess it was a bit of both. Like I have said since the beginning of my tenure here, I know nothing of the tech, however I'm well versed in the assemblies of Teams to bring a product to market.

Guys like Rich Zoccolillo don't just make decisions based on cash in pocket (he has plenty of that), more so “look what I have and you need it”

That's what's happening here IMO.

Also-This company is not for sale, there is no way in hell this team was put together for everyone to sell and run, it's the long game here kids.
