Whatever the motivation, having high ranking experts from Global Foundries really makes any future technology transfer from POET for silicon fab services an easier task for both companies. I expect this would be regarded as a win win and endorsed/encouraged by Global Foundries as a prelude to a working relationship. It definitely bridges a gap that could otherwise take valuable time to establish.
