"Why would they ever contemplate a low ball offer?"   FJ, I was talking about how posters here would characterize an offer, not managment.  I will go along with management's guidance on accepting/rejecting any offer, not that my vote will matter much, because, like you, I believe that management would not consider selling to a low ball offer.  Many of the posters here will feel as if they have been sold out by management - that's all I was saying. 

Anyway, the above is pretty academic, until someone comes knocking...hard.
