The "open the floodgates" line was likely spontaneous, we've made WAY too much out of it over the last few months.  It was a salesmen's line, he may have gotten it out of PC's Playbook! 

Suresh - "up and to the right" - another attempt at a salesman's line, but somewhat awkwardly delivered by a guy that is not truly a salesman - just trying to fit in!  Haven't heard much sales talk out of Suresh since.  LOL.

Althought the tech is enormously complicated, it boils down to something we can all understand, so not trying to put words in Suresh's mouth, but here's what I would say for him (he would never speak in such untechnical terms):

"We had this great idea, and we've been working on it diligently for some time to bring our vision into commercial success, we feel we're close, but not quite there yet.  We'll all be rewarded handsomely from these levels if we succeed, and if we don't, you can rest assured we tried as hard as we could, and you got your speculative dollar's worth."
