I believe what you say as well Bliss Carmen. I have an intuition that GaAs might have gone covert for now in development before it becomes commericial. Just a hunch, so don't hold me to it. The way Suresh worded the change a few years ago, still left the door open for GaAs. It projected, to me, the essence of a politically correct massaged response, like a father dancing around telling his child about the birds and the bees, but not being more direct as it still was premature at that time. GaAs is more likely a matter of when and not if. It is also a huge leap ahead in technological change not currently compatible with the industry. Whe the powers that be want to commercialize that change like whene the presumed military has its advantage, then it could open up for commercial standards at the right time. In the meantime, Poet or we cannot afford to wait for that. Just think about how far Tesla was for his time and you might understand what I am inferring. In the meantime, we will just have to call that 'conspiracy theory". I'm OK with that as Poet has the next best thing being the OI for our real world now.
