Rainer and lumenge, after reading the latest post from you both and from Breeze67, RTV and ITTR I can't help but wonder how much of the anxiety over words like "hopefully" and "soon" brings back vivid and indelible memories to the "POET 10 Year and More Club" when we all were exposed to the "Up and to the Right" speech and to something about making Value for the Investor... that remark was also in the "soon" category. How about "Weeks not Months"?
As a member of the POET 10 YAMC, it might be revealing to know how many others who post here are also members of that collegial body of investors. Sign in, please! Some of those who have only been investors for 1 or 2 years or less may not fully appreciate the historical reasons for why many, not all, members of the POET 10 YAMC feel that current POET administration/management should invest out of their own existing wallet by purchasing, during the time period allowed for them legally to do so, more Common Shares of POET... and as someone has elecquently expressed already "putting thier money where their mouth is" instead of riding the gravy train of freee options and warrants.
FJ, there isn't a single member of the POET 10 YAMC who doesn't believe in the technological advances possesed by POET and so very elecquently explained by you and Oz to not only the other
"techies" on board here, but also and fortunately so to those of us who are decidedly non techies but interested investors. We get that. We all, techie investors and non techie POET investors have already put our money where our mouths are.. and many have done this time after false hope time.
In lieu of the most obious event that would fan the sometimes almost dead embers of "hope" in the POET 10 YAMC, a significant rise in the Share Price to well over $1 USD ( think $4 or $5 a share if we really want to revive the "Up and to the Right" palaver of years ago ), then current management can achieve that goal easily by dipping into their own pockets... not into bennies dispensed by the BoD that dilute the share pool at no cost whatsoever to the benifiiciaries of the BoD's largess... then they can powerfully demonstrate their belief in their own company by forking over a little of mamma's money to prove their personal belief in POET's superior technology and in the solid future of POET with multiple Tier 1 companies.
I don't buy the argument that they are proving their belief by purchasing warrants... I want to see them enter the pool of Common Stock. JMO, probably not worth much and I know I won't wait long for the first brick to be missled this way in the air. Just wanted to show my support fofr the recent posts by Breeze67, lumenge, RTV and ITTR. Patience is a virtue, but even virtue has limits.
