You seem to believe management has some secret super power to lift the share price anywhere they want or at least to 70¢. Of course they don’t.

But of course they had good reasons to believe that the JV would achieve what you requested. Alas, overhang and only moderate sellings met a lack of buyers, so the share price could not take off. And since the share price did not taking off, it did not create any attention among potential new buyers – a chicken egg problem! Let alone that POET Technologies is a penny stock and thus flying under the radar of most institutional investors anyway.

In the worst case, this will only change when concrete sales numbers become available. I believe POET management is doing what they can, but even if they were able to rush customers into contracts, it will still take some time to complete the product designs, make Super Photonics operational, commence production, ship and invoice products. Well, if the market does not honor the prospects (due to POET being overshadowed by its 2016 history), it (we) will have to wait for the actual results.
