Lumenge, I did not sign an NDA and why would I have to? Many of the people who I recognized who were present for the demo have supported this company directly for a very long time. It was a heads up move to provide a live demo for these folks to show them what they have supported for so long. Those people were very impressed and not likely to take profits at this point in time when POET is so close. And that support helps all shareholders.
I have been on POETs back for a long time trying to convince them to put out a video/tutorial to help people understand what this technology can do for industry. The insights that came across in that video was right on the money and many people here gave them lots of well-deserved compliments for it.
Now pretty much all I hear is why can't they move the stock. Why has this fallen on deaf ears? And it’s not just us on this forum that are complaining I can assure you of that. But for goodness sake what they have done, where the rubber meets the road is totally amazing. That being said this forum in my opinion did a great job at trying to find reasons why. As far I can tell anyone who had something to say regarding why POET is not moving up after the OFC was able to present their ideas/reasons. Well done. And yes I think it will have an impact on the people from POET who read this forum.
People look at the huge gains that have taken place with LWLG and are frustrated as to why POET is not making those kinds of gains. Me I see something very different. I am excited to know that this kind of run can happen to what I consider a high risk, high reward venture associated with an attempt to integrate an OE polymer modulator into a CMOS fabrication flow. The fact is there are question, serious ones about the viability. Those questions in my mind no longer exist with POET.
And let’s be clear about one thing. POET anticipates announcing design wins and this really does have to happen before they can even consider uplifting to the NASDAQ. It is fundamental to getting the support from institutional investors for that NASDAQ listing.
Again, lots of good posts today and I think management are lucky to have Agoracom as a sounding board.
