Golden Week in China is a major holiday and lasts from Oct 1 to Oct 7 this year. My son always traveled during Golden Week but everything got booked early. I would suggest a big part of the date selected has more to do with time management. But the benefit for us will be to allow for more news flow ahead of the AGM. Just maybe that time period will end up being the POET shareholders Golden Week.
