I think the post by Rick was a good example of how many potential investors currently feel about POET as an investment, which is related to the current SP. Lots of positive words from POET, but still needing more proof. The reaction to the information in Rick's post reminds me of how this board reacted to Joel Hruska, a journalist that provided his opinion to the potential success (or failure) of the gallium arsenide technology in 2014. Many tore him apart saying he did not do any DD and did not know what he was talking about, and POET was completely de-risked with gallium arsenide. Turns out he was mainly correct, and many here (myself included) were wrong.
Well, at least we are not focussing on gallium arsenide anymore, and what POET has seems to have a great chance of success. Another large hurdle is once the technology is "done", it still needs sales. I believe this will happen, but would not consider everything completely de-risked just yet (or ever).
It is good to look at both perspectives, and consider any remaining risk. IMO, any risk is now more about timing, rather than technology failure (although the chances of this are not zero). By timing I mainly mean when the SP appreciates.
Good luck!!
