I think we can all agree that the share price is way too low.  Lots of examples from POET themselves where they allude to a higher price - these examples all have been posted here many times.

Not sure what everyone's definition of short or long term is but I think investors over 5 years have the right to expect decent returns on their investments by now.  Even short term investors should be able to expect that their investments do not decrease the way that we have experienced.

The real question is whether POET can do something, anything to move the share price upwards.  News releases re technical achievements (of which there are many and they are significant), videos and tweets do not seem to be accomplishing this ... many here have said we need big names, insider buys, and/or POs / revenues.  

I believe that POET can do something that would increase the share price.  In the past they dropped hints the day before an announcement.  Maybe drop some hints about significant news / milestones coming up in the next quarter?  

I'm not surprised that many are frustrated with the share price and also not surprised their frustrations are reflected in their posts .... whether these frustrations deter new investors - don't know - but it is very noticeable to me these same posters say how confident they are in the products and future - something that new investors should take note of.

Perhaps we need a thread that still conveys we are not happy with the share price but makes constructive suggestions to POET on what they could do to help the share price e.g.  "In order to support the share price I would like to see POET do xxxxxxxxx.  

Now if only I could get Yoda to confirm that yes the light saber is powered by POET.
