Clifford: Has talking the stock up achieved anything concrete.... for years?

Please note that I only made a statement about talking down a stock, not about talking it up.

By the way, the opposite of talking down a stock is not talking it up, but not talking it down. I’d settle for that.

Talking up a stock is harmful because it leads to expectations that cannot be met. This in turn leads to disappointments, sell-offs, and share price losses.

That’s why I would always stay as close to reality as possible and try to assess the opportunities and risks as realistically, soberly, objectively, and unemotionally as possible.

As far as POET is concerned, I don’t think there's much missing now. The quote from Warren Buffett that the stock market transfers money from the impatient to the patient is fine for me, since I count myself among the latter.
