Hi Milagro. This is a possibile explanation below on trading action this week which was a bit unusual with the likes of Cormack and Morgan Stanley heavily on the sell side and National Bank today. We will know more in early feb when short report is released. Either way should be done now if not early next week
. -- Usually short positions go up when doing a PP. as an example if the PP was at 1.22 you short a position (example $100k worth) and then buy the PP ($100k worth) for the exact same amount. You cover your short that was protecting the PP position just in case the stock goes down or even up since you own the stock from the PP and take your entire investment out and you keep all the warrants for free. So you have only upside for 60 months on the warrants or if the stock goes nowhere you didn't lose a dime only upside . This is what the large experienced investors do---
