I'm pretty sure Poet techs know the differences between what they (not only these guys but all known competitors) have and we have. My sense is whatever differences exist will appeal to various potential customers.
Competition is inevitable, I just hope theirs is not too similar to ours - the last thing we need is patent litigation. The market is so huge - there's room for lots of competitors so long as the performance of the products is similar.
I wonder if there could be a meaningful difference in reliability of the products. For example, one has better specs, but the other lasts longer or has fewer failures in performance or is less expensive. Our tech guys likely have a good sense of those types of metrics.
