I'm in that camp. If the FIT news didn't move the needle, and real numbers are basically a year+ away, I've reframed my expectations to wait at least another year. Yes, their technological accomplishments and "potential" is/will be academically impressive in their own right in the meantime, but the growing divergence between all that and our actual return on investment is an ever expanding chasm. Another year. And that's ok! It just is what it is. No more buying because of pompom FOMO carrot dangling. I may have finally learned after the twelfth time burned. I'll buy more on the way up for a change, thank you. But of course, I'll be ecstatic if this post makes me look like an idiot tomorrow!
