I'm so excited I was doing some late night historical reading on Poet...read the March 2011 press release for the first time and checked out Pellgring & Associates website after. Proceeded to watch the 2014 Empire presentation where Copetti talked a big game as did a stumbling Dr. Taylor. It is fascinating to learn more about the history of this unique disruptor. Wondering if the more seasoned members of the board could answer a few questions or share their experience, as we wait out the Nasdaq open tomorrow.
Nodrog: you've been here since 2007? Opel had a pretty expensive IPO considering the 2007 time period and where the stock has gone since...what got you into this company in the first place? What was that time like for the company? Same for whoever Mr. Baba is as he's been here since 2008...
You can see a lot of the early themes / IP of this company has been successfully iterated into the elegant OI we have now...curious to learn more about anything people are willing to share about the overall experience/history...fascinating that they were so bold to talk about the death of silicon in that 2014 presentation and where we've progressed to today. You can never get it perfectly right but they understood the broader market opportunity / structural change POET could represent.
Happy 4th to Mr Baba and all others celebrating! Go POET
