Why is POET's interposer-powered module able to remove the DSP? I assume it has something to do with POET's signal fidelity in the waveguides or the optical interfaces. 

I view the whole chain of data movement as a constant error correction problem. The better the fidelity, the less the need for a DSP to clean things up. Is this sort of what is going on here?
