You make a good point BB re the pricing to set up production. CAPEX for assembly and test is 10X lower than traditional silicon photonics. So yes, why share profits if you can do it alone with potentially some funding/grant from the Singapore Government. Either way they need to get busy setting up the +1...whether it is a JV or not. And maybe it's already a done deal?
