Timotao: I believe Dave L. left POET once he saw the magic of the OI. I think he saw it as the enabling technology for his photonic fabric. This is just a guess based on the timing and proximity of his career moves

DL 2014 Co-founded Inorganic Intelligence funded by “The Engine” – Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

SV 2015 Joins POET  

DL 2015 Joins POET contributing to the development of what became the OI platform.

POET 2016 acquired BB Photonics (securing waveguide patents) followed by acquiring Denselight (securing ownership of the patent for the original optical interposer).  

DL 2020 With mission accomplished for both sides, exits POET according to plan and renames Inorganic Intelligence to Celestial AI.
