Two topics from the presentation particularly caught my eye:
1. Power consumption / heat development - I haven't heard anything about that
2. Especially : Ultra Ethernet (UE) with a 400Gb/s interface and the UE Consortium (UEC)
The draft UE specification ( https://ultraethernet.org/ultra-ethernet-specification-update/ ) also states that UE enables direct memory access (RDMA).
The 400Gb/s seems like little to me when at the same time AMD emphasizes how important network communication is.
IMO they can't do more technically right now and that's why they UE needs to achieve (somewhat) more performance/throughput.
Overall I was surprised and disappointed to this.
Also with regard to (and the question of) to what extent POET's Transciever 800G/1.6T fit into this scenario.
And with the UE RDMA I also wonder to what extent this is a competition to the Celestial AI concept
