Petrolifera Petroleum Limited is a Canadian oil and gas company engaged in exploration and production activity in South America. Petrolifera's production base stems from its 100 percent-owned Puesto Morales/Rinconada Concession in the Neuquen Basin, Argentina. In 2005 and 2006, several significant new light oil discoveries were made on this concession. More than 60 wells have now been drilled in Argentina and waterflood treatment and water injection facilities have been installed. Production of crude oil and natural gas is transported to market via pipeline. The company holds almost 500,000 net developed and exploratory acres in Argentina at Puesto Morales/Rinconada, Puesto Morales Este, Gobernador Ayala, Vaca Mahuida and Puesto Guevara, all in the Nequen Basin.

Petrolifera also controls major petroleum and natural gas exploratory licenses covering over five million acres in the Marañon and Ucayali Basins of Peru and are awaiting final award of a third License in the Ucayali Basin. These blocks are considered to have substantial potential as they either are on trend with or offset significant crude oil or natural gas and condensate accumulations and are considered to be well-situated from a geological perspective.

Petrolifera holds a 100 percent interest in more than one million acres of exploratory rights in Colombia under three blocks.

Connacher Oil and Gas Limited of Calgary, Alberta was responsible for the creation and financing of Petrolifera and owns 24 percent of Petrolifera's shares. Connacher also provides some management services to Petrolifera.
