Phoenix Matachewan Mines Inc. is a Canadian based mineral exploration company active in the search for gold and base metal mineralization. The Company's objective is to increase the value of the company to its shareholders by employing an active property acquisition process and well-managed and targeted exploration programs.

The properties being explored at present are the Steel River Project (base metals and gold) near Terrace Bay, northwestern Ontario, the Bottle Creek Project (gold-silver) in northwestern Nevada, USA, the Swanson (gold and base metals) and Barville (zinc-silver) properties near Val D’Or in northwestern Quebec and the Argyle Property (gold) in the Kirkland Lake-Matachewan region of northeastern Ontario. All properties boast ease of access, allowing lower logistics costs and a greater proportion of exploration dollars to be spent on exploration.
