Coach, thanks for the excellent, as usual, posts.  I don't know how you find the time - your fingers must be on fire on the keyboard.

You mentioned the entire junior area has been in the toilet for 18 months.

Here is a GDX chart for the time period.  GDX is an ETF that is a proxy for junior golds.

If you have trouble loading (typical with yahoo), go to finance.yahoo.com and type in GDX for the ETF.

A person can see from the chart that junior golds haven't reacted much, even though gold has boomed.

In the past, there has always been a lag between the two - only a sustained demand for gold boosts the juniors.

Coach, why do you think the juniors are in such an unusually protracted funk this time?
