Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Hi Slapshot!
I do not write off the abiotic oil theory, and believe it could well be a geologic process that is responsible for at least some of the oil reserviors. Just consider that we know gold, copper, silver, and all other metals are also concentrated in deposits due to geologic processes, yet each of these resources is also subject to peak production. The reason is that it takes millions of years for the processes at work to generate an economic deposit. The same could be true of oil, where only small amounts are input into the big oil basins over any measurable time span.
The bottom line is that there is a huge undeveloped oil resource in the world today, but it is not economic to go after smaller pools right now. Technology is increasing the ability to extract oil and make money, but for the near term at least I think oil production is close to peak levels, and abiotic oil or not, we are in trouble.
cheers!
