Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Hi guys,
It seems Northvalue and Vehatzlacha did most of the work for me. Thanks.
I did get an hour of one on one with Brian and the following is some additional info that I gleaned.
I asked Brian why there wasn't more inside buying at these levels. He stated most of them are prohibited from doing so due to the steady stream of insider info. Also, he added that they are people to, and have concerns about the market mayhem we are experiencing.
Brian stated that he really admired the Virginia/Goldcorp transaction that took place and was quite clear that transaction model was a brilliant move on Virginia's part. I took that to mean that don't be surprised if Kodiak duplicates that model here. This model would alleviate some of the concerns regarding a major having to generare billions in cash for a purchase.
The advanced exploration permit has allowed Kodiak to proceed with the stripping of the land between the Golden Mile and Yellow Brick Road. I guess the previous permits did not allow for Kodiak to do that.
I asked Brian why the historic mines in the GBM are only to 1000m, when the other greenstone belts are mined to much greater depths. He stated that these GBM mines just became unprofitable and were stopped. He stated that the veining in those historic workings continue down, and that we should see the same type of historic depths that we've seen the the other greenstone belts.
Dubai is taking place to get Kodiak in front of high net worth individuals. Kodiak has several private meetings arranged already. Some of the initial investors when Kodiak was still a private company were/are from the Middle East.
Kodiak spent a million dollars this year on the uranium properties and he seemed quite enthused about the prospects for that division. They hired a new uranium geologist. He stated the market is giving Kodiak zero dollars for the uranium and base metal prospects. They will drill the Otish properties starting in February.
Brian was sick as a dog so it was a slog for him today. Nonetheless, a professionsal, thorough, well spoken presentation, as always.
We've got a winner here.
