Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I believe the U.S elections are going to seriously impact the uranium markets as well.
Whether or not either candidate fulfills their promises is beside the point at this time. What does matter is both have claimed to have a serious goal of eliminating the dependance on foreign oil and pushing towards alternative energy such as nuclear power and clean coal etc.
So I would assume that Uranium would start climbing any time from November onward based on this knowledge.
As I said; regardless of whether the nuclear plants are even built I believe the speculators and futures analysts will be getting on board in anticipation. This will ultimately drive the price of Uranium back up and will in turn make our properties more valuable.
I also wanted to say that I do agree that the Sleeping Giant would be the best prospect to do a JV at this time. It looks very promising but since our focus is currently on gold it would make sense to have someone else do the exploration for us. This way we take the cash to focus on more important and more glamourous things such as the all mighty Golden Mile or Maki Midas or any of the other dozen high priority targets.
The only thing we would need to worry about is whether we get fair value for the property. In the current market I don't see that happening so unless a major has the foresight to pay the right price we may be waiting a while on that one. I don't really know much about how these deals are brokered but if someone else had any insights or an example or two it would be excellent to know.
P.S - I want to thank all the people who have provided so much excellent information in this last while. Especially those who reported on the TO conference. I know I haven't contributed much lately but I really appreciate all the info. It really keeps my spirits boosted!!
Many Thanks!!
