From Rick Ackerman:

"With last weekend’s furtive “rescue” of Citigroup, the U.S. raised the threshold of its willy-nilly guarantees to something approaching $4.6 trillion. Any imbecile (CNBC guests excepted) can smell a hyperinflation down the road and a day of reckoning for the dollar."

Ackerman has been an avowed deflationist for some time but he says inflation is coming. Also Jim Sinclair has been shouting about inflation (Weimar Republic) for some time now. If these two guys are in agreement that inflation is coming, that is good enough for me - it's not a question of if but when.

As to the when, my guess would be next fall after the newly created money has had a chance to work its way into the system. My further guess is that gold and gold shares will do well at that time. JMHO.
