The technical team looks pretty formidable to me ...

Dr Reg A Olson Ph.D., P. Geol.
North American Uranium Advisor
Dr Olson is one of Canada's foremost uranium advisors. While he has broad experience across a range of mineral commodities, he has a special interest in uranium, for which he commenced exploring in 1969. Between then and 1982, he explored extensively in western and northern Canada for various types of uranium deposits, including both Athabasca-type and Elliott Lake-type unconformity-related deposits, sedimentary and roll-front type deposits, vein type deposits, uranium-bearing IOGC deposits, and uraniferous pegmatites. During the 1970s, and since 2000, he has visited numerous uranium camps and districts, including palaeoplacer deposits at Elliott Lake in Ontario and Witwatersrand in South Africa; unconformity deposits at Rabbit Lake, Cigar Lake, McLean Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River and Cluff Lake in the Athabasca Basin; basal conglomeratic deposits of the Blizzard-type in southern B.C. the former Midnight mine near Spokane, Washington state; various sandstone-hosted deposits in the U.S.A. (e.g., tabular deposits in the Uravan district and Monument Valley, and Shinarump channel deposits in the Colorado Plateau; Gallup district in New Mexico, and South Texas roll-front surface-mineable deposits); and selected IOGC-style deposits (e.g., Wernecke breccias in the Yukon, and selected prospects in the Bear-Slave region of NWT).

His consulting career spans 40 years and includes exploration for and evaluation of precious metal (gold, silver, platinum group elements), base metal and uranium deposits. His exploration method and management expertise covers the range from grassroots to pre-feasibility stage exploration. His role with Kirrin Resources Inc includes the review of suitable uranium exploration projects in Canada, the identification of appropriate consulting and operating teams, the review of exploration plans and programs, monitoring plan and program implementation, the appraisal of results and recommendations for future programs.

Dr Olson gained his Ph.D. in Economic Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1977 and his M.Sc. in Economic Geology in 1971 from the University of Western Ontario. His B.Sc. Honours degree in Geology was awarded by the University of British Columbia in 1968. Dr Olson is the author or co-author of several academic publications. Among his exploration successes are the discovery of the George Lake and Goose Lake gold deposits at Back River region, NWT and the gold deposits existing within the Committee Bay region of Nunavut.

Dr Olson is a Professional Geologist with APEGGA, a Fellow of GAC and CIM, and a Member of CSPG, SEG, and PDAC.

Discovery Consultants-a Corporate Partnership
Technical Consultants
Discovery Consultants has been actively consulting to the mineral exploration industry since 1984. At present the firm has two partners, Bill Gilmour and Tom Carpenter. Both partners have more than 35 years world-wide exploration experience each and are Professional Geoscientists with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

The goal of Discovery is to provide full-service consulting to the minerals exploration and development industry. It provides clients with programme design and planning; field collection of geochemical, geological and geophysical data; design and implementation of quality control and quality assurance procedures; supervision of programmes; and compilation, interpretation and reporting of results. The programmes can range from property examinations through to development drill programmes.

The principals of Discovery are qualified to write National Instrument 43-101 technical reports, which are used by clients listed on Canadian Stock Exchanges to report findings and to raise funds. As well, Discovery has collaborated with other professionals with specific expertise to produce 43-101 mineral resource reports.

Most of Discovery's recent clients have been Canadian junior mineral exploration companies, although in the past Discovery has worked for such major mineral exploration companies as Teck-Cominco. In the last 6 years alone, some of Discovery's projects have included:
  • management of a 3 year uranium exploration programme in Argentina
  • base metal exploration in Sweden
  • gold and base metal exploration in East Africa
  • gold and base metal exploration in Chile
  • uranium exploration in Newfoundland & Labrador and Saskatchewan
  • diamond exploration programmes in the NWT and Nunavut
  • numerous gold and base metal programmes in British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan
Since its inception, Discovery has managed and/or provided personnel for over 800 exploration programmes on 5 continents.

Greg Moseley M.Sc.
International Uranium Advisor
Greg Moseley's role with Kirrin Resources is the identification and review of suitable uranium exploration projects outside North America. Greg brings to this role over 40 years' experience in more than 25 countries, including senior positions with Gencor, Vengold and De Beers. His M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration was gained with Distinction from London in 1981 and included all critical elements of exploration and exploration management. The dissertation involved the development of a largely litho geochemical "Mineralisation Index" to discriminate mineralised granitoids.

During the past two years, Greg Moseley has applied his uranium experience to reviewing projects for Kirrin Resources in Botswana, Madagascar, Mozambique, Niger, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. His expertise in uranium comes from both the current period of interest in the commodity as well as from the in the 1970s, the last 'bull market' for uranium. During the latter period Greg Moseley gained particular experience in, inter alia, sandstone hosted, surficial and granitic hosted deposits.

In addition to his experience on the African continent, Greg Moseley has spent many years working in North and South America and in Asia. In Brazil, while responsible for Gencor's mineral exploration programmes in South America, Greg was responsible for bringing the Sao Bento and Santa Quiteria gold projects into production.
