When I was in Uranium City in about 1984 it's only remaining purpose was as a gas stop for aircraft making the Yellowknife to Iqualuit (then Frobisher Bay) Run who looked to get weathered out of Baker Lake and couldn't count on getting into Rankin.
It seemed surreal. An entire community with no vehicles moving and no smoke coming out of any of the chimney's. Not aware of its current status and whether or not it opened up again. Some of those communities like Pine Point, just evaporated.
Nice to hear of the Vegas talk again. Since we have all of this positive ongoing price projections, how about establishing a price point where we start making hotel reservations and detailing of the host coctail lounge.
5.00 seems like a pleasant level. We could view it as an "interim gathering" while we await the real riches at the end of the rainbow.
