I have never been one to suggest bomarding management with questions HOWEVER in this case there have been several references to the report by the end of the month and management quoted as the source.
If there is indeed some factor causing a delay I do not believe it would be asking too much for management to acknowledge this by way of a short informational update. They would not of course deal with the specifics relating to the delay but would at least acknowledge they set a deadline and now have to revise that.
