Peter - thank you for the quick, confident response.  Much appreciated as I am far from a patent expert.

From my untrained eye, the Purevap application report did look daunting.  Whereas other PYR patents demonstrate inventive steps (ie. 3d powder), the Purevap one has yet to, at least in the eyes of the reviewer, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this gets resolved.
