You are not sounding unappreciative at all.  Your request is a reasonable one.  However, the companies we are dealing with like to play their cards closer to the chest. 

Rest assured, if there was any material news (positive or negative) we would have to publicly disclose it notwithstanding anyone’s wishes to the contrary.
