Being commercialized in multiple applications around the world including plasma torches, Industrial 3D printing powders, aluminum & zinc dross recovery, waste management and defence - 4 US aircraft carriers
Hi Peter and George,
One thing I personally think you could consider doing is having a virtual product demonstration video session.
The website is great for highly skilled potential clients who are looking for information but I don't think the average investor or FUTURE investor really understands how much potential some of your business lines have to make serious impacts in the industries they target (world changing in my opinion).
I'll use one example which is the additive manufacturing powders. When most people hear 3D printing (the industry not specifically PYR's tech) they think its early technology, and its low resolution, and you can build your own 3D printer at home with a kit off amazon and print things out of plastic at low resolution.
When I saw a youtube video (on the PYR channel) of a sample of your 3D powders I remember thinking ok this is not at all your home hobbiest 3D printing with plastic filament only using titanium instead.
The resolution of these powders is astonishing. I remember seeing it in a glass jar as the person moved it around and the finest powder literally flows almost like water it is so fine. Microscopic (almost nanoscopic to be honest) detail. The video on the Pyrogenesis additive website is great if your technically inclined but to better address just how revolutionary some of these products are I personally think you could simplify it down a bit for the shareholder audience in a product demo session and really focus on the key things that make the tech game changing.
When I saw the -63μm/+45μm powder flowing it reminded me of the terminator liquid metal hah.
Obviously theres some concerns with IP and showing something that competition might use to try to steal IP or ideas but I think its extremely hard for the average investor to digest the real value here and in turn invest in the company.
I have a background in electronics, computers, and software dev and I still find it hard to understand some of the business lines.
I am part of an investor community and have been trying to explain the opportunity here and most investors in my group who don't have the same technical background have a real hard time grasping the products and benefits to then go and invest in the company.
I try to show them in videos but there isn't much in the way of product on Youtube or via Agoracom to show the actual products and potential.
I understand this may not be your target audience of course. But just wanted to leave my comments after watching the Q&A.
I would love to see Peter just hold up a sample of powder and a sample of some widget printed with the powder up close to see just how high resolution and what sort of impact that can have on the aerospace industry for example. It's MASSIVE.
I personally would love to see a video of a torch demonstration, size, power, etc. 900KW is an insane amount of power.
Maybe i'm in the minority but I would certainly like to see more product videos (to the extent you can show something without giving away any trade secrets or IP)
Thanks for the Q&A session it was enlightening. I got all my questions answered just before heh,
