Olderguy wasn't being incorrect or misleading. In fact I agree with him.
In the Agoracom video Peter flat out says he prefers to go slower than [and these are Peter's words] "a client who would want to lock up a hell of a lot of systems at an introductory price". He then says "we on the other hand would be looking for the opposite... we'd like to do THE MINIMUM AMOUNT WE CAN at the beginning... I'm not in it for this particular... I'm in it for the long term. Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast; we can get there faster by going a bit slower".
He says this starting around the 15:45 minute mark.
To me he was setting expectations, if not actually lowering them to suggest the first torch deal will be smaller and introductory. There is nothing wrong with pointing this out.
