Out of the box thinking is always welcome.

I will look into what you are suggesting. However, my thinking is that given that the conventional method to produce SiC is to combine Si) with carbon, and as such it is already a process which does not produce CO2 emissions, it may therefore be difficult to be competitive against such.

Will keep you posted if anything comes up.
