There are definite advantages from doing deals that can be transferred to the next and make things easier.  However, having said that, there are idiosyncrasies specific to each client (everything from the legal department requirements to scheduling) which cannot be mitigated by previous deals.

Just imagine something as simple as building planes for clients.  Each one has its own specific needs, but experience with past deals helps.  Not much different here.
