Hi,
I was reading a lot about Silicon nanoparticles and was wondering if the idea of prelithiathing (by adding Li metal in the process?) the SiNP before carbon coating it to create a "full size" carbon "cage" had been considered/evaluated for maybe a nextgen of your carbon coated SiNPs.
The prelithiation seemed to have an advantage in initial coulombic efficiency and the carbon coating would not be affected by the expansion since it would be built around the particule at it's full size.
I have no idea of your technologies limitations so apologies if I am over my head on this.
Best regards.
