I am sorry, but I am getting a lot of inquiries about my response to you, specifically my quote.
Let me be clear about what I meant when I said:
“…if you live by the (s)word, you die by the (s)word...”
It was a play on the expression, “…if you live by the sword, you die by the sword….”.
By putting the “s” in parentheses (i.e. giving the option to use it or not) the expression becomes, “…if you live by the word, you die by the word…”.
In other words: you want to write something manipulative I will put you in your place. No news there I hope.
That’s what it means. Nothing more nothing less. Let me be clear: “(s) word” was not meant to be a replacement for a rude word.
