Allow me to address your points as follows:
Yes, conventional thinking is that leasing should open up the pool of potential clients. Having said that, the fact is that iron ore pelletizers are, by the very nature of the business, not that small. We believe that offering a leasing option would be more attractive to these companies who may want to deploy freed up capital to other projects.
As I posted elsewhere on this platform earlier, the only reason we decided to pursue this strategy was that we believe we could make a hell of a lot more money doing this. Really, nothing more than that…plus recurring revenue at that!!! Who wouldn’t want to rent something out, year in year out, as opposed to a one-off sale and then having to go look for a new sale?
