from the job application it look like ArcByt is very sure they will succed in developing the tunneling robot. Allready now they are looking for  an operational  engineer. Here is a bit from the job describtion:

"ArcByt is looking for a highly motivated engineer to oversee and contribute to the design and construction of shafts, tunnels, and structures at our field sites.

They will act as a liaison between contractors, superintendents, foreman, estimators, and engineers for a specific project until the completion of the tunnel project. This role will also be highly integrated with the ArcByt machine design team to inform machine design requirements specific to the site and tunnel design."
