Thanks for posting here and thanks for the lead.

 

From what we could gather, it seems that the biochar will be produced form woodchips using pyrolysis reactors. We were not able to find the specifics about the reactors. However, pyrolysis reactors are typically externally heated and operate at relatively low temperatures (below 1000 °C). As such, a plasma torch is probably not the right tool for this application.
